Using some of Skype’s already graphically strong iconography, I directed and designed a series of commercials that utilised them within a world of 2D, 3D and live action.
After making Love Sport I was asked to direct this Bupa campaign which ran for a number of years. An added bonus was working with the brilliant and rather lovely Anthony Burrill
Who Am I ? is a wing of the Science Museum dedicated to explaining what makes you you. I was asked by Graphic Thought Facility and StudioAKA to design and direct a one minute loop to sit alongside permanent visuals for this part of the museum.
One of my favourite campaigns to direct were these Orange idents commissioned by Mother London, which had a simple synergy between music and design that I found very appealing.
You might be able to tell that I don’t really know much about rugby. A series of idents I designed and directed for Barclay’s sponsorship of the Rugby World Cup.
Travelling at the Speed of Hertz was another campaign I directed using a mixture of 2D and 3D animation. Voiced by Owen Wilson and designed by the beautiful Christopher Gray
Then there are the ones that get away. Following the original long running campaign, Bupa wanted to follow it up with an evolution on the idea - using simple 3D shaped characters singing Moldy Peaches songs in the real world. What was there not to love? Unfortunately there must have been something as it sadly never happened :(
